From the earliest cartoon short in 1973 through some newer renditions in the early 1990s, this DVD set contains them all in their full form, but with extraordinary sound and color. Delivered in Dolby 2.0 sound, the songs blast from the speakers with crisp tones never quite experienced on television nearly 30 years ago. One negative: Some of the digital transfers aren't top quality. Every episode is here, from the much-loved "Conjunction Junction" to "The Shot Heard 'Round the World" to "My Hero Zero" to "Good Eleven." One caution: the catchy jingles will play over and over again in your head. You might even find yourself in a crowded elevator, humming, "Interplanet Janet she's a galaxy girl, a solar system miss from a future world." Some of the edition's highlights include the all-new song "I'm Gonna Send Your Vote to College," the top 20 Countdown, a three-song set of "Scooter Computer and Mr. Chips" and the long-lost "Weather Show."
